1. Define health ?

👉 “Health is a complete state of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being and not merely and absence of disease or infirmity” 

                                            ~ According to WHO

    Four concepts of health -

             A. Biomedical concept : Based on physical health.
             B. Ecological concept : Based on environment. 
             C. Psychosocial concept : Based on mental health.
             D. Holistic concept : Mixed of four concepts. This will defined as health in all aspects.

2. Define illness ?

    Definition of health: 

 👉   Health is a complete state of physical mental and social and spiritual well-being and not merely any absence of disease or infirmity.

    Illness:

    Any absence of the characteristics of health is known as illness. 

    Eg: 

            illness in physical aspects= fever,

            diarrhoea illness in psychological aspect= mental illness like anger, lack of emotions 

            Illness in ecological aspect= environmental issues like lack of hygiene, lack of light That all can  lead illness

       Note:  illness is opposite of health. 

3.Define hospital ?

    1. MEANING: The word hospital came from Latin word “ hospice”.

   2. Definition: Hospital in defined as the place that helps to treat the illness individual and those are prone to get illness.

     Aspect of hospital: 1.preventive as well as curative aspect. 2.early Screening and treatment. 

4. List out four risk factor for developing Illness ?

    1. Introduction: illness: Any absence of the characteristics of health is known as illness. 

    Biomedical aspect: lack of immunity that lead to micro-organisms can enter easily in our body and                                        disease will happen.

     Psychosocial aspect: if one have poor mental health like depression, anxiety, anger it will leads to                                             mental illness . 

    Environmental aspect: poor hygiene, lack of light, lack of air, slums area that can lead illness .

5. Define immunity ? 

    INTRODUCTION: Immunity is the defense mechanism of our body to protect from                                                               microorganisms. 

    DEFINITION: Immunity is defined as bodies ability to fight against the harmful substances for the                                body. 

    👉It will protect our body by making immune response against microorganisms like bacteria, virus                 and many others like toxins and any harmful substances.

    👉 Types of immunity: 1.Active immunity . 2.passive immunity

6. Differentiation between active and passive immunity ?

  👉  Active immunity : That we can get from being get an infection or vaccination

  👉  Passive immunity : That we can get through introduction of direct antibody in our body ( by injection antibody from other person, baby can get antibody from mother through breast milk)

  👉Types of immunity: Their are mainly 3 types of immunity

         1.Active immunity: It's further divided by two types. Active natural and active artificial 

        2.passive immunity: It also further divided by two types Passive natural and passive artificial

       3. Herd immunity

7. Enlist the primary health care ? 

    👉   Introduction: primary health care settings is the place where individual can get health services                 at primary level 

               Eg. Getting vaccination, first aid management, iron and folic acid tablet for pregnant women

9. List down four function of hospital ? 

     👉   Introduction : The word hospital came from Latin word “hospice” means care 

            Functions of hospital:     

            1. Care of illness. 

            2. Care of acute and chronic diseases Health screening and early diagnosis and treatment. 

            3. Early diagnosis and treatment 

           4. Screening to maintain Healthy life styles 

10. Mention the level of prevention ?

    👉There are 4 levels of prevention 

         1. Primordial level of prevention

         2. Primary level of prevention

         3. Secondary level of prevention

         4. Tertiary level of prevention.
